I am current using a 65mm Mustang throttle body and I like the results this far. Did have to operate a bit on it to get it adapted for aircraft throttle cable and reverse the spring so it stays open should the cable break. Also, make certain you plug all the air holes - can really play havoc trying to get low rpm idle.

I measured the ones I have across the opening in the bottom, and it came out to 60mm. Did I measure it in the right place? The intake end seems to be slightly larger.
BTW, how did you reverse the spring? Can you just bend them around to the proper shape? These springs on this
BMW throttle seem to be pretty stout. I don't think bending them into shape would be trivial.
