I think them Swedes is just a clever bunch.  Actually the old 93 was
very much like an airplane in a lot of ways, since that's where Saab
got their start.  I don't know how the old Cessna pull handle was
hooked up.  BTW, you are also getting a reversal of the "pull".  When
you pull the handle, you push whatever you are moving.  It may have
just been their way to get the right direction.
