Easier to plumb,
You're not getting away with this pal
:-) So you're saying that it's easier to install a heater core,
run hoses to it, install a valve, cables, etc, and let's not forget the
separate boost pump and wiring. Yeah, that sounds waaaaaay easier
:-)
No CO
None
with a proper heat muff either.
Flying up here in the winter in a spam-can they are notorious for
being very cold with pathetic amounts of heat being supplied by the
heat-muff.
I will
admit that you have a lot more to worry about than I do when it comes to needing
heat. Heck, Tracy still doesn't have a heater in his
RV-4.
Another thing I've considered that may not be valid at all, but what
about about noise? Is there any of the exhaust noise carried through the duct to
the cabin?
Hmmm, good
question. I never thought about it either. My RV-8 had a heat muff type
heater on it from day one, so I don't have a before and after comparison.
The rotary might be worse still, but I doubt it would be my biggest problem
if you could even notice the extra noise over all the other noise.
Todd (why doesn't Rusty have air
conditioning?)
Same reason
I don't have a heater core, no
space.
Cheers,
Rusty
