Please, please tell me that those fuel lines in picture #15 are still not there that close to the exhaust headers!!!

Yep they are still there, but have a heat shield between the exhaust and the line. Will measure the air temp there next time I run with cowling. Do not believe it gets very hot there and while you are running there is lots of fuel flow in the pipe and airflow off the radiator. When I go to hot start and run the pumps a short time, lots of cool tank flow comes thru there. Thanks for the heads up, will monitor it.
