Depends, we have been talking about a E - SHAFT mounted alternator in
this thread. This unit would include a replacement drive pulley, for the
excentric shaft. This doesn't require a belt to run itself. The pulley would run
other DRIVEN items like the waterpump. We can, and probably will, get quotes for
a unit that replaces the stock Mazda waterpump. That unit could be under or over
driven. Most of the Racemate pump/alternator units are UNDER-driven since
they are intended for racing level high RPMs. Since the pulley is
manufactured by them various ratios would be possible.
