Subject: Does MicroTech shut down over heated engine?

I got a response from MicroTech regarding my question to them. I asked if the MicroTech ECU would shut down the engine if overheated. Their reply is that it does not, but you can make it do that if you care to by going into the water temp map, and at various temperatures, you can add/subtract fuel/timing.  So, the real answer is yes and no. It is not programmed to shut the engine down, but you could adjust the water temp map settings to cut fuel if you so desire.  Hope this helps someone else as well.  Paul looking at Cessnas Conner
