I asked = if the MicroTech ECU would shut down the engine if overheated. Their = reply is that it does not, but you can make it do that if you care to by = going into the water temp map, and at various temperatures, you can = add/subtract fuel/timing. So, the real answer is yes and no. It is not = programmed to shut the engine down, but you could adjust the water temp = map settings to cut fuel if you so desire.
