Good pre-flight approach, Paul.  No point in taking any additional risks - if  any hiccups exists - don't fly, if something doesn't seem just right - don't fly, if you just have a "gut -feeling" something isn't  right - don't fly.  My first flight plan called for gaining altitude right over the air patch and making at least 5 circuits to get a feel for the aircraft (more if everything is looking just fine).

Good luck on both inspection (and flight whenever)

Hi, again....Yes, the DAR inspection is set for tommorrow at 1 P.M.  Although it would be nice to fly it later that afternoon, it is also dependent upon the weather.  If the winds are out of the West, I will wait for another day

.).  I won't risk the aircraft (and my own butt) on unfavorable flight conditions. I've waited this long, another day or two won't kill me. We need to keep positive fotary powered flight reports and successes on the internet, not accidents caused by "hurry-up-itis".  (Is that a real word)?  Of course I will advise tommorrow as to the flight or non-flight reports.  Take care.  Paul Conner, 13b powered SQ2000 finally ready for flight in Mobile, AL
