Good pre-flight approach, Paul. No point in taking any additional risks - if any hiccups exists - don't fly, if something doesn't seem just right - don't fly, if you just have a "gut -feeling" something isn't right - don't fly. My first flight plan called for gaining altitude right over the air patch and making at least 5 circuits to get a feel for the aircraft (more if everything is looking just fine).

Good luck on both inspection (and flight whenever)

.). I won't risk the aircraft (and my own butt) on unfavorable flight conditions. I've waited this long, another day or two won't kill me. We need to keep positive fotary powered flight reports and successes on the internet, not accidents caused by "hurry-up-itis". (Is that a real word)?
