Ya' gotta love this group.  Thanks, Dale. It looks like it would physically fit very well with lots of room for cooling airflow.

Some work may have to be done to couple the shafts.  My first guess is that it could be drilled and tapped, then connected with a threaded rod.  The correct handed threads would guarantee that it never got loose, but it might be a bear to disconnect at some future time.

For those who are trying to design without aid of an example, here are a couple pictures of the mounting point under discussion to compare to the website Dale provided.
