Sorry about the dog, and
yet another hurricane. How about turning that thing North immediately, and
keeping it away from the panhandle :-)
After so many years of
low activity, this year has to be some sort of record for FL. I heard that
1 out of every 5 insured homes in FL has filed a hurricane
related insurance claim this year. For those of you not in
hurricane areas, keep in mind that we generally have a separate hurricane
deductible that's much higher than the normal deductible, so these aren't
frivolous claims. In my case, the hurricane deductible is a bit over $4k,
but that's still a bargain when I have about $40k of damage from Ivan.
