David, I think you are largely correct. My oil cooler is also very well fed. I'm at work all night and don't have the pictures, but you can see them on my web site.

Do you have photo(s) of your oil cooler and how air is ducted to it? Ed's
initial problem was a duct that blasted most air thru one end of long cooler
and rest wasn't getting its "share" of air.
I'm thinking "duct" is more important than "Setrab" or "Mazda" or "A/C
core".
