Dennis, If I were to do it over again I would use a mount from conversion
concepts.  Search for them on the web, there is also a link on my site and
Tracy's site.  The length of the stock cowl is just right.

I am needing help to complete my fuselage and finish kit orders with
Van's for my RV-7A.  I plan on using a  NA 13B or Renesis engine with
Tracy's redrive.  I need to know what motor mount others are using - any
recommendations -  Also should I order the standard cowl  and spinner
for a 200 hp Lyc. or are there better options???  I really don't want
the standard Van's cowl with the lower chin for combustion air.  Do I
need a longer cowl to mount the engine futher foward for CG
considerations?

Thanks,

Dennis H.
