RE: [FlyRotary] Dave's Turbo info

John,

For your sake, I hope that the 3rd gen is different than the 2nd gen, because that is the exact location that I WAS measuring oil temperature.  That (at least on my engine) was coolant, and the coolant at that point is cooler than the coolant at the water pump.

I hope that yours is different.

Steve Brooks (been there-done that)

In preparation for wiring my EM2 (thanks Tracy) I'm checking that I have my sensors setup correctly.

I remember someone (I think it was Steve) discovered that they were measuring water temp when they thought they were measuring oil temp. I'm wondering if I'm doing the same. Attached is a picture of the oil temp sender. Remember this is a 3rd gen engine. Do I have it wrong?

Regards,

John Slade (turbo on its way - somewhere over the pacific)
