Doubtful, but maybe.  Seeing is believing and I’d sure like to see the W&B & performance numbers too.  Even if it was done, the endurance would probably only be about 2 hours at 18 gph.

IT IS TRUE AND I HAVE SEEN THE PHOTOS, I DON'T SEE WHY IT IS NOT DOABLE, IF YOU HAVE THE BIG TAIL AND SHORT MOUNT, NO HEADER TANK, MAYBE YOU SHOULD THINK AGAIN.

Me too Ed.  I really hate to say BS to an IO-540 installation but the CG would be WAY out of whack.  Honestly, I just don’t believe it.

Danny, I agree that old doesn’t mean bad.  But they are good until one day, then they are weak.  The replacements are 18 bucks, so I wouldn’t reinstall an old one regardless of test.  Lancair has 4 models, which one is for L360?

I can’t wait to see the IO540 install.  The 360 is tight enough.   Ed Gray
