Getting engine right is the most important action. 

 

The second most important action is to report results of tear down with supporting details (dates of purchase, engine time, who tore it apart, and their written report of findings)  to the FAA Los Angeles  FSDO.   Rhonda at Barrett Precision Engines has done this several times in the past. Sadly.
