I was talking to a friend of mine who just finished his 320 with a hartzell
prop. He now has 30 hrs on the plane and loves everything about it except a
rear CG problem. Lancair says the only real fix is to get the new longer
engine mount. has anyone had any success moving the battery or hydraulic
power pack forward to the firewall? are there any AC batteries that will fit
under the cowling (or 2 smaller ones split up) that people have had good
luck with? does it make a big enough difference to be worth the work?
