I have mounted my landing lights both in the right air intake and on the nose gear.  I thought about mounting it on the alternator but didnt want to block the air flow into the scoop for the
# 5 cylinder so I made a little stand to support it and placed it beside the # 5 airscoop.

My second light is on the nose gear.  I had a little adjustable bracket made which provides a more positive mount than the clamps that I previously used.  Pictures available if needed.

Would very much like to see the new setup that Barry Knotts mentioned.
