Hi All,

Can someone give me the plus and minus of using e-glass cowls vs.
carbon.
I ordered carbon with my original LIV kit only to find out that they are
to small for the Lancair fast build TSIO-550. This was not found out
until I had completed all the fabrication on the lower cowl. Now I'm
looking at 12-16 weeks for Lancair to get a carbon cowl from the
Philippines. Naturally e-glass is available now.

Any turbine upgrade's have a set of carbon cowls laying around?

Any input is helpful.
