I live just north of the NY state border with
Canada and about 25 minutes flying time from Syrcuse NY. I have a business
meeting in downtown Washington and weather permitting, would like to fly down
the day before. (360)
What would be the best airport to use in the DC
area from the point of view of NOT getting into trouble with TFR's and other
associated nausea as well as providing an easy entry into the area from the
north?
I would clear customs and immigration in Syracuse
which makes life easier if for any reason I had to land before reaching the
airport in DC.
Any help and/or advice from pilots who live and use
the DC area airspace would be appreciated.
