Early kits have hex head bolts on the top of the gearbox and these make it
very difficult to fit the seat bottom. On Derek's airplane we replaced all
the hex heads on the top surface with flat head bolts and added shims
between the corner braces so the seat bottom had a flat surface to sit on.
It worked so well that all the newer kits are done this way. Two 1/4" bolts
in the front corners hold the front down.
