I have watched with interest the "discussion" about the Engineair
installation in the IV. The only comment I have is that I would think that
the overall package equivalent in weight if one were to use an inverted
direct drive aluminum big-block Chevy of maybe 500 to 550 cu. in. and mount
the prop directly to the crank. And it would be much, much simpler and
therefore potentially more reliable at the 400 to 450 hp level.
