Would appreciate any details and seeing the photos of your rear spar repair, if at all possible.
Do you think it necessary to enter the wing for reinforcement since the problem is solely at the tip of the rear spar where the metal doubler plate has broken off?
I was thinking of installing a 1/8 in.SS plate running the length of the exposed spar and attaching the doubler plate for the rear spar bolt directly to this plate. I was also thinking of bolting a second plate opposite the SS plate to distribute the load. Would this be sufficient in your opinion?
