With regard to the higher rotation speeds, I would sure like to hear from the factory on this one.  I agree that a higher rotation speed would give more control authority but the downside is the greater stress on the gear/tires, etc.

My airplane stalls at approximately 70 knots dirty (when its light) so I think that its safe to say that there is no way it will fly below 70 + knots .  Rotating at 65 kts just places the aircraft in the proper attitude to fly whenever  the wings generate enough lift to hoist it off the ground. 

It seems that the consensus of the folks that commented on this issue is  for a rotation speed higher than 65 kts.  Some vary the rotation speed  with weight.  I always assumed that the 65 kt recommendation in the POH was for the max gross weight of 3200 lbs.  Some factory clarification here would be welcome.  Regards, Bill Hogarty
