Alternative seal

Go to a used home appliance and parts dealer.  Look at Maytag washing
machines, front loaders.  There is a neat seal ring sold by the each for
about $5.00 about four feet long.  Buy two units from the parts department
and glue them on the aft side of the canopy rollover bar.  When you close
the canopy the seal closes the gap between the canopy rollover and the
fuselage rollover bar.  No rolling or abrading and the seal works great.
The cross section is similar to the letter Z on one half and Letter S on the
other half.  Glue the flat side to the canopy in such a way that the cabin
pressure presses the seal against the aft fuselage rollover bar.

Use the regular D tube for the rest of the canopy.
