I think that the whole point of the scheme was to claim that it was NOT
your airplane to avoid liability. If you admit that, in
True enough, for liability reasons it is "not" your airplane, but for legal
reasons (read "FAA") I think it still is. I think if you prove that to them
they should be happy. Of course since you are renting to yourself anyway,
who will know.
