Leg 1: 1200 + Miles - Top Speed
Leg 2: 100 Miles - Top Speed
Leg 3: 300-400 Miles - Min Fuel Burn (or max bladder endurance)

Yeah, sign me up for Leg 2 and maybe leg 3. I'll run out of gas for leg 1 .
With accurate instruments, I think that the 1,200 mile leg could be made. It could be made but may take up to 10 hours depending on the wind.
At first glance I misread the Leg 3 specs. I thought it said speed. I wouldn't like a race that long with wide open throttle. Min Fuel Burn though? I like that. I wouldn't have an endurance problem but how would we measure the fuel burn?
Problems.
1) The race would have to be started from an airport where we could fill our tanks up at. We would also have to land back there to refuel. The fueling would have to be done very carefully. I can over fill by a couple of gallons pretty easily one time and not the next. A monitor(lineboy) would be needed.
2) Even just flying Legs 2 and 3 would take about 8 hours to organize, start and finish. When do we have time to bullshit and have the rest of our fun?
