Another thought on static wicks. The nice thing about Bill's static wick system
is that each wick can be easily removed (or replaced) if damaged. Should you
find that a lesser amount of static wicks does not work, you can't, without
major surgery, install more after you have closed the control surfaces.
I installed all 15 wicks on my ES, based upon the fact that no one could
guarantee that an ES will or will not be bothered by static. If it turns out
that I don't need them, I could remove them. The way they are installed the
holes for the wicks are not all that obvious.
Seems to me that if you pay the (big) bucks for Bill's static wick system you
should install them all. You could always remove any find you don't need. Just
food for thought.
