Hi all,
I'm about to balance my ailerons and need to locate and attach the static
wicks first.  I understand that only one wick is attached to each aileron
(as far outboard as reasonable) and the remaining on the winglets.  Is this
correct?  Does that mean a total of 6 on the aircraft?

[Don't forget about the elevators and rudder, Joe.  Each of those control
surfaces require three static wicks as well, so the total for a IV/IVP is
actually 15, not 6.  Go to www.speedbrakes.com and check out the Support
pages, look in the Static Wicks folder.  You'll find pictures outlining
the proper locations and wick spacing requirements for the IV as
recommended by Dayton-Grainger, the wick manufacturer.   <Marv>     ]
