I know that I read recently that the cost of Hysol has skyrocketed and the
Hazmat charges too.

Lancair recommend to the international customers that they use Araldite
2014.  This is also sold in the States and Canada.  The cost for a 6 quart
pack is $319.75 and that is a walk in price.  Much cheaper than the old
Hysol price and half the new price.  Only problem is that you would need to
find a number of people to share the six quarts.

The manufacturer is Vantico, a subsidiary of CIBA/Geigy and you can find all
the their details at www.vantico.com  Their is also a fact sheet on the
product at that site.

There is a wholesaler in Syracuse NY, Curbell Plastics 315-437-8461 who
handle the stuff but Vantico would tell you where the local distributor can
be found.
