One clarification on my post regarding titling tax on an aircraft...
The titling tax on a motor vehicle (or an aircraft) is in lieu of sales tax
(i.e. you don't pay sales tax on a motor vehicle, but rather a registration
or titling tax).
So, if I'd already paid sales tax on the components for my Lancair, I would
not also pay an aircraft registration or titling tax to the state!
