My 2 bits on the recent thread about hard landings.  Reference to the Avweb
article by John Deakin titled "Sometimes There's Bad Air Out There" provides
some very insightful ready on the subject.  It's too bad that we can not
seem to educate the FAA on this subject.  Within the narrow minds of some
FAA inspectors there seems to be only two valid causes of a crash.
Mechanical failure or pilot error.  I make this statement based on many
accounts of FAA investigations that I have read and heard about.
