Paul,
Would you ask Ed to check the mfg and part number of his rubber isolators
for me? I am ready to try another set if they are different.
I have slop in my flaps that I plan to address with Home Depot foam gap seal
tape in the wing trailing edge pocket. Hopefully that will take out the
slop and gap seal the flaps.
Our Legacy is on jacks waiting for the rewelded nose gear overcenter link
per SERVICE BULLETIN SB074-0111.

Subject: [LML] Re: Vibration
And to toss in the other side, there are Legacy airframes with the metal
hartzell flying as smooth as a turbine. Ed Martin's in my hangar has one
of them. Last week, I noticed my flap tops were marked and Ed's were
perfect condition. His flaps are tight with no fore/aft play in the UP
position. Mine have some slop in the UP position fore/aft and that leads to
side play as well.
These issues are not entirely noticeable unless you have someone familiar
with all these issues as Steve points out.
