Contrary to what others have presented, there are some items on the
320/360 airframe that are not applicable to the 235 airframe. The
static port is one of them. Dan has it correct.
Page 280 of the 235 build manual indicates the static port is:
"placed at FS-84 just aft of the baggage bulkhead on the longeron
line".
It does not indicate that one on each side should be utilized.
However, in my opinion, one on each side is a given. Also,
I installed the static hose making a 180 degree loop, fastened to the
inside of the fuselage, right above the static ports to prevent water
buildup downstream.

Subject: [LML] Static port placement
235/320/360 airframe
All, I am getting a slight amount of pressure in my static port
which is causing my indicated airspeed to read low. I have the 235 airframe
and installed the existing port on the passenger side baggage area just below
the longeron. I am looking for help on the initial placement and also am
wondering if I need a secondary port somewhere. If so, I am looking for
feedback on where this should be located.
Thanks on advance!
