Hey Bruce, I'm not sure if you're still at this email.  I got in touch with Marv today to get me back on the Lancair list.  I've been away for a while.  I was wondering if you or the list might be able to help me with something.  My Glasair 1FT has a "custom" gear from what I have understood.  The struts look like certified equipment, but there are no markings on them and my local shop guy doesn't seem to know what they are.  He disassembled them to rebuild them (one was leaking down, and the the other practically blew out).  The main part I'm looking for looks like a seal?  I've sent some pics and show the groove in the strut.  I cannot find any reference to these in the builders logs or documentation.  I heard there may be another one or few like this out there, but I've never seen any.  Hopefully you might get me on the right track.  Thanks again.
