Hey Bruce, I'm not sure if you're still at this email.  I got in touch =
with Marv today to get me back on the Lancair list.  I've been away for =
a while.  I was wondering if you or the list might be able to help me =
with something.  My Glasair 1FT has a "custom" gear from what I have =
understood.  The struts look like certified equipment, but there are no =
markings on them and my local shop guy doesn't seem to know what they =
are.  He disassembled them to rebuild them (one was leaking down, and =
the the other practically blew out).  The main part I'm looking for =
looks like a seal?  I've sent some pics and show the groove in the =
strut.  I cannot find any reference to these in the builders logs or =
documentation.  I heard there may be another one or few like this out =
there, but I've never seen any.  Hopefully you might get me on the right =
track.  Thanks again.
