Thanks for the responses. I have the posting that Jeff Leigner made a few years ago and have been planning to follow this.
For the Pro Seal recommendation over silicone, that's new for me. I see the stuff at Aircraft Spruce for about $20. This gets 3.5 oz of the stuff. Does anyone have an idea of how much it takes to do a IV P with Pro seal?
John John,
Proseal is a much better sealant.
Jeff

Subject: [LML] IVP - pressurization
Hello All,
For those with IVPs I am ready to slather the insides of my airplane with silicone for sealing up the pressure vessel and am hoping for input on best practices, pitfalls etc. Better yet, if there is someone in the Puget Sound area who has done this themselves and felt good about it, I’d gladly fly you to the Olympic Peninsula, provide lunch, donate a couple of my children to you etc, for hands on workshop.
I have all the panels fabricated and fit – Jeffco Tank Sealed and ready to go --- I think.
