Steve & Jeff,
The guy have bought the farm but I am pretty sure that I saw the same plane for sale for about $80,000 up somewhere around North Dakota about a year later. The plane also had no logs. It wasn't worth $50,000.
Jeff it is with Gods help that I still here. I never thought of myself as a great pilot.
I believe, however, that publishing foolish mistakes, may help others avoid them.

Really? We talking about the same guy? I hope not! I think this was the guy that Scottie G bought a plane from (or third hand...think it had been passed around). This was a 320/360 with the funky color shifting - purply -looking bottom half with white top. Lorn could probably pony up more info.
