Tom,
The 360 I purchased has a 3 blade MT prop and the added spacer. I tried taking the spacer out but lost too  much clearance. I have never noticed any nose wheel shimmy (I've put close to 500 hrs on the A/C) and after landing it can be a bit difficult to see over the nose but not impossible. Taxing after leveling the aircraft is no problem. The spacer is 1" Al and has two pins, one on either side, which are used for the tow bar.

Tom,
Might work BUT,  this will aggravate nosewheel shimmy and give you a nose high taxi attitude.
Even when the plane is level, you can't see what is right in front of you.

Maybe you could start at 1/2" and try that.

Subject: [LML] LNC2 nose gear spacer

Folks,

I am considering adding a aluminium spacer/doughnut/ring to the bottom of the LNC2 nosegear fork to give me some more prop clearance.  I am running a long prop and need all the clearance I can get.  I have the available space in the gear well to extend the strut at least 1 inch.  I would love to hear from anyone who has taken this approach, materials dimensions etc

Thanks

Tom
