Tom,

One more problem - If you boost the length of the front end, your landing attitude is rather nose high and, if the speed is not carefully controlled you will go flying again.

Tom,
Might work BUT,  this will aggravate nosewheel shimmy and give you a nose high taxi attitude.
Even when the plane is level, you can't see what is right in front of you.

Maybe you could start at 1/2" and try that.

Subject: [LML] LNC2 nose gear spacer

Folks,

I am considering adding a aluminium spacer/doughnut/ring to the bottom of the LNC2 nosegear fork to give me some more prop clearance.  I am running a long prop and need all the clearance I can get.  I have the available space in the gear well to extend the strut at least 1 inch.  I would love to hear from anyone who has taken this approach, materials dimensions etc

Thanks

Tom
