Working on some details of a 360 fuel system - replacing the float probes...
I am in the process of installing new fuel probes in both the wings and the header tank and am leaning towards the Princeton capacitive probes as I prefer the lack of moving parts of a capacitive probe. Which probes are going to be optimum in the wings and header tank? Also, what is a good secondary backup fuel level probe or sensor for the header tank above and beyond the visual tube? I'm planning on using the fuel probe in the header to activate the fuel pumps from the wings to refuel the header, but want a second system (independent) for warning of a low header fuel situation.
Thoughts?
