I haven't done that but I have
drained my tanks several times. The easy way is to disconnect the
fuel supply at the engine and point it into a holding tank (e.g. a fuel
mini-cart made from a pick-up truck bed tank used for fueling power equipment in
the field). Then run the boost pump on high. It drains very
quickly. ....but do it outdoors.
useless advice if you don't have
a cart but that's what I did.
