LN 360 MKII, outback flaps:

- the manual calls for a 1/16" gap between the upper trailing wing skin and the upper flap leading edge (Having fun yet..?) in the faired position.  It then says that the gap is allowed to "get dirty"  (language I can understand) when the flap is lowered.  How dirty is dirty?  Pretty tough trying to maintain 1/16"...  Any suggestions are appreciated.
