An apology is in order.  I did not realize that Lancair corrected their lack of a torque spec in a more recent assembly manual update.  (I'm building a 360, not a Legacy, so I don't get the Legacy updates.)  I'm pleassed that they agree it was important.

If I caused anyone on the list, or at Lancair, any heartburn by intimating that Lancair was somehow remiss in their responsibilities to tell us how to assemble their airframes, I humbly apologize.  In fact, the updates and service bulletins that I've received over the (way too many) years of building are part of the reason why I'm glad I chose a Lancair over the alternative.  As for the instructions that they do give us, well, I'm amazed at how much better the new manuals are than my 1994 manual, and the 1994 manuals were among the best in the industry at the time.
