Mark,
   did you buy these direct or through a distributor?
   do you mind saying cost?

   I need to get a heater in my new-to-me hangar very soon.  most people around here (vermont) are using the hot air furnace that hangs from the ceiling.  Those are about $800 each I think.

I mounted the tube to the ceiling in the corner farthest from the house. I figure the common wall with the house provides some heat transfer for that end. My workbench and work area are under the heater. No problem with cold tools or shop items because the heat is radient; anything in front of the heater gets warmed up -- floor, tools, workbench, cars, etc. -- then EVERYTHING emits heat. That's part of the key to these system's efficiency. I need only set the thermostat for the heater to 60 degrees about 1/2 hour before starting work.

I found 60 degrees is still a little too cold for the epoxy, so I keep that in a heated cabinet.
