Hello,
I have been flying full EFIS equipment for the airlines for about 10 years. The backup Attitude indicator on our equipment is also EFIS. It's about the same size as the small dynon. The backup attitude indicator has a backup battery that will last up to 3 hours. If you have a backup battery for your dynon, I see no problem with your setup.
