I also used the EAR material to insulate my 320. If I had to do it again,
I would only put the heavy type material on the floor only. I covered all
the inside cabin surfaces, spent a bundle of money, added probobly 30 pds
of weight, spent and extra 2 weeks, and gained very, very little. The 320 is
so "leaky" that there is no possible way to keep the noise down. I live
with a very good noise cancelling headset and chalk up the rest to the
learning experience. Also fiberglass is a very good heat insulator but a
very poor sound-proofer. I had that demonstrated to me by a thoughtful
fiberglass dealer when I built my house. Sincerely, Fred N9BF, Don't fly
like my brother.
