My Lancair 320 manual suggests that throttle cables for carburetted engines should penetrate the firewall on the starboard (passenger) side of the nose gear tunnel, and that fuel-injected engines should have the throttle cable on the port (pilot) side.
A) Is this truly the way it should be?
B) Am I correct in assuming that there's no difference in desired throttle cable location between a 320 and a 360 (assuming they have identical fuel induction system types)?
Thanks in advance.
