During the test period with Jack Webb, we fabricated a ventral fin from
3/8" prepreg and mounted it as far aft as possible on LIVPT N750S
(photo attached).  Before the fin, the turn & bank ball would move
almost fully to the limit during significant power changes (esp
reductions) in cruise.  Maybe with more rudder skill, it wouldn't have
been so bad.  But after the fin was installed, the same power changes
produced no more that one ball width movement with no rudder input at
 all.  Clark Still (KPOU)

BTW - Our fin is perfectly aligned with the direction of flight, but
maybe a different alignment is better due to the asymmetry of the
airflow from the prop.  Does anyone have any experience with this?
