Rick -

Awhile back there was an article about repair procedures for Columbias. Seems that it was in the AOPA magazine or Sport Aviation. It was a very good one, authored by an expert in glass repairs. Sorry, I can't be more specific. I'll look around in my rat's nests and piles of pages/papers. The wing over a fuel cell is a challenge. Maybe Mark Mahnke or Tim Ong would be able to prescribe something.

FYI,

Does anyone have any experience/suggestions on how you would fix a serious
Ding in an upper wing skin.  By "Ding" I mean a 3" hole/crack all the way
through the skin (outer/core/inner).  Assume the hole/crack is over the fuel
bay and inaccessible from the inside/bottom.
