I have decided not to use the canopy latch mechanism.  Most of the canopy latches I have seen installed didn't come out all that well - the body work around them is tough to get smooth and well blended.

Instead, I will be using an outiside opening rear window, through which I can reach the regular latch (yes, I have long arms).

Anyone else thinking along these lines?

Subject: [LML] Canopy Locks

What is everybody using for canopy locks on the Legacy?  The factory doesn't seem to supply one, so I'm wondering how various builders have solved this problem.  On my last Legacy I used one of the locks that comes matched to the ACS ignition switch, but it was quite a construction project.  Someone on the list mentioned a Medco (or Medeco?) lock -- details?  I need to figure this out before finishing the body work.
